Exterior Tips:

• There are infinite numbers of possibilities to how MoldAvenger could be applied for exterior use. There are however 2 methods for rinsing surfaces on the exterior that have proven to be extremely effective.
  • Pressure Washer- this method is great for rinsing off surfaces and powering the water to high places that might otherwise be difficult to reach. The pressure helps with agitation of the surface and can in many cases replace physical agitation of heavy growth areas and help eliminate hard to remove stains. (Note: improper use of pressure equipment can cause damage to surfaces, please educate yourself before handling high pressure equipment.)
  • A pressure nozzle can be placed onto a normal garden hose to help increase water pressure and power water to hard to reach places. A pressure nozzle is not as powerful as a pressure washer and requires no special handling skills. It can usually be bought for under $1 at many hardware or home improvement stores.
• In some cases it is beneficial to re-apply MoldAvenger to cleaned surfaces. Once the mold has been removed from the surface it can be beneficial to re-apply a light mist over the surface leaving behind more enzymes and helping to abate further against re-growth. This is ideal for non painted surfaces, brick or stone walls, driveways, or other areas that will not be immediately re-painted. (Note: MoldAvenger has cleaning detergents that will leave a slight film on the surface and should be rinsed from surfaces where paint will be re-applied after cleaning.)
• As maintenance for your exterior paint job it is advised to have your siding cleaned with MoldAvenger each spring to help clean off old mold and mildew spores and to eliminate any food source for new spores in the summer.
